Ms. Palin still has a long way to go with her dumb remarks to overtake the ones made obama and biden. for example, when asked his opinion on president bush’s actions in the financial crisis he said, “If the president would have done what roosevelt did when the market crashed in 29 then gotten on television and explain to the people what was going on as president roosevelt did, things would be a lot better.”

If this is not a stupid moronic remark, then I don’t know what constitutes one. Fact, President Roosevelt didn’t assume the oval office until 1936, so Mr. Biden missed it by 7 years. Furthermore, televion on a nation basis didn’t begin untilt the early 50’s… so Mr. Biden is an downright delusional liar, or the man is the biggest idiot in Washington.

Who would you say he is?

Right on, Not Convinced. Does it trouble any Dems that Obama has an utter dearth of experience doing much of anything? His entire stint in Congress was consumed by running for office; the bottom of the McCain ticket has WAY MORE experience than the top of Obama’s. Then, pair that utter lack of substance with a political whore like Biden — ohhh, great choice!

In trying to be objective here, I can see Sarah not as polished as some others in interveiws atc. I can see her looking foolish…sure. What I cant imagine though is the pressure of being thrust into a den of wolves. The American media is intent on making her a fool and there is no line they will not cross, nothing they will not do. So when you see a relaxed looking Barack, or a smiling Joe..at least take the time to veiw her in a setting that is as friendly as the ones afforded to the dems. The media has their candidate, they do everything to promote him in a favorable manner. I watch them all..I listen to the “new media” (talk radio)..both sides, and I watch the news..guess what..I like Fox the most. If you think I am veiwing propaganda, thats your right..your opinion..just be fair enough to admit to “yourself” that your sources are attempting to do whatever they can to make things easy for their Candidate. I dont mind being criticized..just be as critical and as interested in your choice’s shortcomings and questionable activities.I have seen Sarah in a friendly setting and she seems very capable and intelligent…given time, her character and common folk appeal could go far to mold her into a fair and beneficial leader.

Lord knows what we have now is sad beyond words, for the first time in my life I feel as if our country is truly run by theives, not all..but many many of them. Barring a revolution of some sort, I think the only thing that could save us is someone who is untainted by the filth in Washington..and it “is” filth. At least one can notice that she did take on her own party up north..she didnt just tow the line. I think that says a lot for a novice female..she is a strong woman and I admire her

First of all, try to imagine having your character maligned so viciously before you’ve even spoken your first word to the public, as Sarah was maligned. Then, picture yourself sitting across from a man who looks down on you and makes it very obvious to you and everyone else that he has already made up his mind about you before asking you Question One. And, by the way, the “Bush Doctrine” has changed several times, so it was perfectly appropriate for her to ask which one Charlie was asking her about. Then picture yourself seated across from Katie Couric who uses a condescending tone and asks you stupid questions! Sarah has said since then that she was becoming aggravated and who could blame her?! The truth is that she is honest, decent, has high morals, genuinely loves life (unlike her pro-death critics) and did more for her state as governor than any other politician in its history, and that’s why her approval rating there is so high. She is a Christian and is being persecuted for it. That’s what is happening. Sad for our country that being a good Christian person is now such a “crime” in the eyes of our media. Sadder still is the fact that anyone supporting conservative views these days is referred to in racist tones by Obama and his supporters as “trailer trash” (an affront to anyone who happens to live in a trailer), or we’re called other derogatory names. These words of a man I love comes to mind: “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.”

    Is anyone suprised?

Say what you want about Joe Biden, but at least he knows what’s going on in the world!

    Need I say more?

i tihnk alot of people are forgetting one thing- Barack Obama was ELECTED…..Sarah Palin was SELECTED

that difference neutralizes any EXPERIENCE argument! Enough people in this country felt like Barack Obama was capable of running the country….only one man felt like Sarah Palin would get him votes cause she really can’t run the country- if she doesn’t even know geography and can’t answer simple questions….

c’mon people just admit it, she (although not dumb) is simply not ready! she may be in 2012!

  9. unfair, but funny said

The fact is Palin went through a lot to prove her saavy in being elected to Gov. of Alaska, but the truth is, she wouldn’t have been elected in a state with the population of Iowa, so its hard to find her a legitimate choice as a VP. The VP has no real purpose but to wait for the president to die and to press his agenda in the senate and break ties there. Sarah Palin is a joke to senators, how can she carry any weight? Joe Biden carries a lot of weight in the senate with his party and with the Rep. How can this be a dumb choice? He doesn’t vote unless there is a tie, he presses agenda that isn’t his own, where does his intelligence come into this? And just so the record is straight, McCain has no experience as president of the united states, so he has no more than Barack Obama. If you don’t understand that, read the constitution and mark down the job description. The pres.’s biggest advantage is the bully pulpit and McCain can’t speak well enough to bully anything.

wow, nobody knows anything anymore. Hey why don’t we all go watch fox news or Msnbc and call it “fair and balanced” or “unbiased and listen to everything our parents or govt. or history teachers have said and not look into anything for ourselves. Let’s generate opinions and not angles or conceptual ideas on how to solve problems. Lets deface character rather than supporting claims to success. I mean honestly, don’t they all just want things to be better in the country, and even the world? they just have differing ideas of how to make things better.

My real problem with Palin is her stance on issues that have become “non-issues” to me. You can’t outlaw gay marraige in a country that puts Ellen Degeneres on a pedastal. You can’t outlaw abortion when both sides of the debate think rape babies, a birth that could harm the mother, or children of incest are “okay” to abort. It’s an issue where personal moral obligation comes into play, not law. You can’t LOWER taxes and offer tax breaks when your country is barely paying off the interest on its debt. Gas prices are not government regulated. I don’t look to politicians to fix my fuel costs.
Palin’s religious agenda and her state of residence puts “sides” on these non-issues that look great on the campaign trail but really continiously amount to nothing when it comes to what a president actually does. She’s not the brightest crayon in the crayola box, but I highly doubt someone gets elected as governor by fluke, so I can’t say she’s entirely dumb…
Ultimately, I agree with those that say she’s simply not ready. She’s barely left Alaska let alone the country. McCain knew fuel costs were important to Americans, knew drilling in Alaska was an issue most americans were familiar with as having something to do with fuel costs, so he blindly chose that states governor as an energy expert. This election for me was pretty fifty/fifty prior to running mates being announced. Biden’s strengths plays to Obama’s weaknesses. I can’t figure out what the hell Palin actually does for McCain and his campaign.
