Subject: Urgent Request
Hi. I like many thousands of other readers have been following this story. The one thing that the US media suffers from is what was summed up in your story, “The obama saga and the Presidency.” – they assume too much, provide too much opinion, and do not delve into their journalistic duty of research. All too often, things are dismissed with not so much as even checking up on them with stories being buried as with the tag of simply not being credible.

Subsequently, I have been astonished by the amount of pure reporting that comes out of some of the blogs. The amount of detail and the foresight by which these stories come to fruition is staggering. Your story earlier is but another incredible entry into the narrative that is independent reporting. Should your story be correct, you can vault independent reporting into the stratosphere and cause universal journalistic integrity to step its game up because what I’ve seen in the US for the past 8 years has been sorely lacking.

I implore you to release the tape now. Please do this to help restore some semblance of balance to reporting again. You cannot imagine how important this story is. Or maybe you can. It should be reported to the fullest extent to allow the readers and listeners to dra their own conclusions just as investigative reporting should be. Please, release this today.

Thank you for your consideration,
Edmund Alexander Sims

Dear Mr. Korir:

I am an independent trying to decide who will be the better person to lead the United States of America as her 44th president. Senator Obama and Senator McCain have plans that will benefit me. I must make my decision wisely.

I am trying to give Senator Obama the benefit of the doubt but there is the uncertainty of trust. His campaign has played the race card throughout the primaries and now during the general election campaign. If you have information that can make me understand the Obamas better, yes, that includes Mrs. Michelle Obama, then please share that with us before November 4, whether its good or bad.

Let me and the rest of the American people have a chance to review what you have so that we can make our decision intelligently. While I understand your predicament, I do not want to vote for someone that I help elected to the White House and that person turned out to be someone who does not have the United States and her peoples best interest. I pray that you will have to courage to share your information with us before its too late.

Thank you.

I urge you to publish the audio of Michelle Obama. No country can afford to be in jeopardy. Our country is in jeopardy in this election, if we are weak.. we can not be strong.
I am a minority, I am not a racist. I believe in freedom for all, I even believe that Michelle Obama has the right to believe the way she does, but I believe in my right to hear what she has to say, as long as she is a public figure in politics.
Please, report the news.
Thank you,

On Mrs Obama story: Thanks for your honesty in reporting this API you have shown good reporting that all the bias Media has wimped out on lately, except Fox News

Thanks for your honesty in reporting this API you have shown good reporting that all the bias Media has wimped out on lately, except Fox News. No need to call, I believe every word. It speaks volumes. All so very clear.

Well, Well thou does protest too much, Missy Michelle. This racist thing is really an issue with Michelle and maybe that whitey video should come out now.
Yea, where is the birth certificate? All I want is to see the baby! I believe Phil Berg – NOT Michelle. Google: Phil Berg and THE OCTOBER SURPRISE, guess that gave Michelle a jolt off her make believe idea that her baby daddy will be Prez.
Jesse Jackson said Obama would not be on Israels side and Dick Morris reported the Jews better think twice and not vote for Obama, if he they didnt want another Holocaust. (Dick Morris is a Jew) So do you reckon he has an idea of Obamas motives.
Now one question: I am a woman and for the life of me do not understand any woman voting for Obama, why? You can with Obama expect the following:

Nuke made in Iran.
Your tax dollars going to ACORN and Trinity Church, etc. etc.
Your taxes to go up up up and away – to distribute the wealth
You will have to listen to four years of Michelles rants
A world war three, already started by his number one advisor Michelle
A Prez that was born in Kenya and Obamas already admitted his Muslim Faith on Stephanopoulos
A Prez that thinks America has 57 states, Hell-OOO, without a teleprompter he is lost

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! Just go blindly in the voting booth, you will be glad you did?????????? Im early voting today, for guess who. McCain/Palin and every other Republican on the ticket, after Pelosis fiasco. Man Michelle and Pelosi will not like each other, but then again do either one of them like anybody???? You can e-mail this to them for me. PLEASE! You can say, I said so. OH and Obama too. Kapeech!

Stay the course, consult with your lawyers and release what you have in a responsible manner with all your is dotted and ts crossed. You have entered the United States spin zone. I am an x-Obama supporter, doing my own homework.

You are correct, this must be handled with kid gloves. Obviously, you and yours did not realize the implications of these adoption remarks or the term racist would have on the US and our mainstream media. This is a ticking credibility time bomb for Millions of people. If not handled correctly and truthfully, you could get seriously burned. You are walking very close to the fire.

Good Luck.

Let them all wait like the rest of the American public. Just be careful and keep all copies in a safe and different place until you decide when you are going to post it.

TO API EDITOR ON MRS OBAMA: Your government, or Obama computer hackers, will try to stop you from airing the audio tape of your interview with Michele Obama.

Posted by African Press International on October 17, 2008

Thomas P.

Dear Editor

Your government, or Obama computer hackers, will try to stop you from airing the audio tape of your interview with Michele Obama. Then no one will believe the story is true. I, and millions of other Americans, believe your story is true but we need you to release the tape NOW. You and us cannot afford to wait another minute. Please put the audio tape on your website, and download a copy to keep in a safe place, in case of hackers. Your strength is needed right now. Please put the audio tape on your website tonight.

It might also help to relay more details of why the call came through Nairobi? Any more details you can place on your website, labeled as an Update would be appreciated by us all. Thank you for your perserverence! We need to have it on your website in the next few hours in order for people to believe you are legitimate.

Thanks!

Thomas P.

Dear API,

As a concerned American voter, I want to thank you for bringing this forward. I am sure you will receive criticizm, if not out-right retaliation, from the Obama campaign for doing this. Please know that you are doing the right thing and there are thousands, if not millions, of American citizens and truth-seekers standing behind you.

Your findings are an important revelation in our elections, whose outcome in one way or another, will effect the world. I applaud you for this righteous and courageous expose, and encourage all who support you to extend their thanks as well.

My sincerest appreciation.

TO API EDITOR ON Mrs OBAMA STORY: Release the audio tape. Believe me it will be used for political purposes if it exists.

API Staff,

Your article yesterday created quite a stir. Now it is up to you to come up with the proof of this conversation. It has now been over 24 hours and there is corraborating evidence. Many voters have an interest in the evidence that this transpired. We have denials and that is the meme being pushed.

I wish to thank you for reporting the news. In the US this is big news. I have no other interest other than truth. I understand that you do not want the audio tape to go viral. The problem is that because this has been a large issue in the campaign with many internet rumors that if this tape exists and is published it will go viral.

Unfortunately, this is an election changer. That is what happens when news is reported. As I see it you have two choices:

1: release the audio tape. Believe me it will be used for political purposes if it exists. But it will never change the fact that you reported it as news and now you have a responsibility to back up your story with proof.

2: Don’t release the tape. If you do not release the tape you will lose all credibility. This is what happened in the comments on the story from yesterday. The Obama campaigned denied the story and have started attacking your credibility. Your organization will not recover from this lack of credibility.

It is journalistic responsibility to be able to back up accusations. Please provide the audio or some other verifiable proof this call happened. Perhaps you have the incoming phone number from the call. If you have this and dates and times this may suffice as proof.

If there is no proof please retract the story today. You are open to huge lawsuits for propagating this rumor. If untrue this is considered slander. Please do the right thing and either provide documented proof or retract the story.

Thank You.
