Janet Ongera, the Executive Director of the Orange Democratic Party was part of a Kenya delegation from the 8th to 15th of October on a study tour in Norway. The Norwegian politicians organised a study tour and invited 15 Kenyan leaders. The purpose of the tour was to educate themselves on government coalition matters. Norway has had many successful coalition governments for many years.
Former Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik’s Oslo Center for Peace and Human Rights in collaboration with NDI were the hosts. NDI were represented by Phoebe Mungai – Program Manager (Kenyan), John Lovdal – Program Manager (Norwegian), and Mary O’Hagan – Senior County Director (British)
