At the end of the confirmation of charges hearing on the 5th of October at the ICC in the Hague, Mr Khan told the media that the defence had done their job and it now remains to see what the Judges will do in the next 60 days.

He was,  however, upbeat and believes his client, Mr Francis Muthaura, will be cleared of all charges because the prosecution, according to him, was not able to show  a connection linking Muthaura and the Mungiki, the sect ICC Chief Prosecutor Moreno Ocampo has accused of crimes against humanity following Kenya’s 2007 elections.
