Hate speeches in Kenya killing unity
Posted by African Press International on November 6, 2015
There is a creeping disaster caused by politicians in Kenya. Hate speech that has been caused by some politicians is hurting peace loving Kenyans forcing them to react as it continues causing discomfort in the country.
The country’s Chief Justice who is also the President of the Supreme court Dr Mutunga has warned that if politicians are not tamed now, the country may experience violence during the coming elections of 2017 just as they did in 2007 elections.
Some top politicians are now battling with court cases after uttering words considered hate speech directed against other communities in country.
It is time to stop this hate speech madness and unite for the sake of peaceful coexistence.
