President Uhuru Kenyatta in Brussels

The president had earlier cancelled his trip to Belgium due to a diplomatic hitch caused by the Belgium Embassy in Kenya.
President Uhuru’s Chief security officer was denied a visa without reason or explanation from the embassy. This action almost caused embarrassment to the President.
Those who are prime negative forces started speculating that it may have something to do with the president case at the ICC.
On arrival, however, in Brussels, the Head of State was accorded presidential welcome and tight security by the Belgians.
President Uhuru Kenyatta last evening departed for Brussels, Belgium, where he will be attending the 4th Africa-European union summit. The head of state will also represent the east African community in his role as current chairperson of the regional bloc.
