Kenya: Owalo leaves Raila Odinga as he accuses cousin Midiwo

There seems to be no end in sight for trouble in ODM and CORD in Kenya. From recent fights when there was an attempt to hold elections that was called off due to the fighting started by the men in black – supposedly the same people who were charged with taking care of security, to Owalo now telling Raila that he will no longer work with him because of cousin Midiwo’s accusations. Raila takes charge to avert fallout
Raila Odinga has now taken full control of all affairs of the ODM party as par its constitution until the new election are held. In a day characterized by meeting after meeting, the party also resolved to have a seven member committee to organize modalities of how the party will hold repeats election after the aborted exercise on Friday last week. Another 5 member task force will investigate circumstances surrounding the disruption of the elections on Friday and give recommendations for the way forward.
