Kenya: Parliamentary nominations in Naivasha and Gilgil – many aspirants to battle it out tomorrow

At least ten parliamentary aspirants in Naivasha constituency and six from Gilgil will be battling it out for the nomination of TNA on tomorrow.

The aspirants who have staged massive campaigns in their respective areas have already recruited their agents as they wait for the big day.
One of the aspirants Elias Ng’aNg’a Kihonge said plans were in place for a peaceful election in the lake side town.
Kihonge who will be trying his luck for the second time has pitched tent in Mai Mahiu and Longonot and Maella areas where voter turn out has always been high.
On the other hand immediate Naivasha MP John Mututho visited areas around the flower farms targeting workers in the flower sector.
Mututho said he deserved a second term in parliament given the numerous debates, motions and bills he introduced in the tenth house.
Others include John Kihagi, Stepehn Kiguru, Jimmie Kiiru, Josphat Kimemia, Engineer Ndegwa Nguthiru and Waiganjo Kihara.
In the newly created Gilgil constituency, six candidates will be battling it for the TNA’s ticket with all systems been put in place.
