It was a happy day for clients and their lawyers. It was a day to go home after many tough days at the ICC fighting the charges brought against them by Mr Ocampo.

Mr Kay, counsel for Mr Uhuru Kenyatta addressing the media on the 5th October 2011 at the ICC in Hague on the last day of the Confirmation of charges hearing said he and the other lawyers had done their job and expected the Judges yo do their homework well and to arrive at a decision that will go down well with the international justice requirements.

All parties were told by the court to refrain from making inflammatory statements that may invite violence in the country like it happened after the 2007 elections in Kenya.
