TO API EDITOR: I read your article about Michelle Obama and thank you for not taking her side immediately.

I want to say thank you for not taking a political stance on this issue. So many times I am called a racist and mostly by Obama, his wife and his followers. I am far from being a racist. I have not
read the book yet but how come EVERYTHING that is spoken about against Barack Obama is considered lies? Not by you but by the Obama compaign. The media is not allowed to say his middle name. I will, it’s Hussein. He has a record that speaks for itself. Documents don’t lie and not everyone lies. He voted against the Born Alive Protection Act. That is if a baby survives an abortion, he does not want any doctor to save that helpless baby. That is sickening. It’s not a lie, it’s in his voting record. He is also for partial birth abortion and if you don’t know what that is, look it up, it is cruel and inhumane. There are ties to an American terrorist called William Ayers, his pastor said G-damn America and said horrible things. Would any of you in your Country want to hear someone bashing the Country you love? I hope not. He has ties to ACORN, they go out to get people to vote. There are 14 states under investigation because they are committing voter fraud. Mickey Mouse was registered, they let one man register 72 times, they offered money and cigarettes to people
after hounding them over and over until they registered again and again. I read your article about Michelle Obama and thank you for not taking her side immediately. I take offense to her comments and it is people like her that are the racist. Obama wants to take money from all of us who work very hard and distribute it to others that don’t have it. That is socialistic and completely unfair. We have too many people that can find jobs, they just don’t want to work, why should those that bust their rumps pay them money? That is not a lie, I heard Obama say it.
It should raise a red flag for anyone that hears all this and more and the one person that it is aimed at says they are ALL lies. That’s preposterous. I am a conservative, I am not a racist. I believe in
helping others but not the way Obama wants to. A lot of black here in America are voting for him only because he is black. To vote for a black person just because he is black, is just as racist as a white person voting for a white person because he/she is white. If Obama was white and McCain was black, I wouldn’t hesitate to vote for a black McCain. I go by the issues, what is near and dear to my heart and Obama is for everything I am against and against everything I am for.
We are not in this bad economic situation because of Bush and the conservatives. What the media fails to say is some republicans came out years ago saying Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were in trouble and this was during the Clinton administration.
I guess I’m telling you all this is because so many really don’t know what’s going on here. It is very frightening. Everyone blames President Bush but in American politics, the President of the United
States cannot do most things without the consent of Congress and the democrats have been in power of Congress! Don’t get me wrong, I am disappointed with Bush’s spending and several other issues, but I am also disappointed at any politician that is corrupting our Country and trust me, it’s not just the republicans.
America gets a bad review from the rest of the world but most of the world only hears biased media news. Most media is extremely biased and are democrats. They never bring up legitimate misgivings of Obama or other democrats.
I hope you took the time to read this and believe me when I say I am not a racist. My faith in God makes me not hate, I don’t hate people, I may dislike them but don’t hate. Racism is hate.
I”m also sorry that this is so long but I am deeply disturbed about this call from Michelle Obama, the very woman that said for once in her adult life she was now proud to be an American. We are a free
people and people have the freedom to prosper and become who they want to. Not everything is good, but all Countries have good and bad qualities.
Also, if you do respond I give you my word not to publish it. That is what is wrong with our world, people are too deceitful and trust is waning away. I stand strong in being honest and teach my children the same. Dishonesty leads to distrust and because your article was very fair, I respect that. I respect that more than you probably will ever realize.
Thank you,
Sincerely.
Pamela, Citizen
