Has anyone commenting actually read the articles that are linked in this post? Seriously. All the connections are only fabricated in this story…as each of the articles provides no support for this thesis.
While in Africa he visited…FIVE countries…he gave ONE speech in Kenya. If you look up the text of the speech you see that it was against corrupt gov’t…not in support of anyone.
In addition…the Newsweek article says this “And he played that role to the hilt. In South Africa, he scoffed at Health Minister Manto Tshabalala-Msimang’s home remedies for AIDS. He blasted Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe, whose schemes have made a violent mess of his country. And he hit the government in Khartoum for the genocide in Sudan. Thank you all for your input. How can we get this information OUT to the sleeping Americans who think that it is just smear against Obama?

There must be some innoculous, yet highly visible way of showing it to Americans. Maybe show videos in a mall and invite Obama supporters or undecideds to watch them in order to criticise why they are wrong and unfair to Obama, then have experts –seem surprised by the contents and distressed and explain that it is correct and true.

I wonder why “Slice” T.V. channel is down for at least 1/2 hr. to an hour today? Could they have been showing ads that Obama does not like? The media are just terrifying. They are so radically far left. I guess they plan to flee the country if Obama is elected, or maybe they think it would be fun to live under a Marxist regime.

Another “To Do” –prepare sound bites for innocent voters who have no clue what Marxism looks like. Lure them into a broadcast with the kind of thing they like –celebs, plastic surgery, expensive clothing –then break the news: No more of those fun things if we move to a Marxist regime –at least, Mao was not into fashion. Then give the best tidbits of funny daily life when you are starving and under constant state scrutiny.

Didn’t Dr. Jerome Corsi bring back with him copies of 25 or so emails between Obama (and his staff) and Odinga regarding “Odinga’s Hope and Change” election (does it ring a familiar bell). I think we should flood the Senate Ethics Committee and ask for an investigation into Obama’s use of his senate resources, along with his support of this guy. Boxer is the chairperson of the Committee. Thre are 3 democrats and 3 republicans on the committee.

I came to this wonderful country as a child, became a citizen when I turned 18 and believe that if you don’t vote you are part of the problem. I have also been a strong Democrat supporter for the last 22 years. I find myself terrified that the average American voter does not want to do the slightest research on their presidential candidates and wants to be “fed” the answers as to who to vote for. If Obama gets elected, it will be by all these new voters who apparently were to ignorant to vote before, did not care and are now voting because he’s black. Being a Latin American I am treated by the African American community as a fellow minority and I hear and get included in conversations where the main topic is that Obama is black and has a black agenda and will fight for black issues and help black communities. And, although I don’t really believe those statements 100%, I have a problem with the reverse racism because I know that a white group of people talking about a white candidate could never get away with this conversation without being called racists. So why is allowed? Because, Obama is being voted in by the masses of poor black people who “think” he will help them by redistributing the wealth. I have news for these people. Obama is only out to help himself, and is not now or has ever been poor. Voting for a man just because he is black is prejudice and shame on this country that in the attempt to be politically correct we are afraid to call “foul” on this type of reverse prejudice! Having been born in a another country and being an American Citizen, I see things from a different prospective. The President cannot have ties to other counties as Obama clearly does. What if Kenya did something against the United States? Would Obama react accordingly or attempt ignore it? His alliances terrify me. Because, I don’t feel he can have all these ties to all these muslim people and fight against them if he had to. And even if he claims not to be muslim himself, can you say it about his family, childhood friends, teachers, the people who have influenced him? Would he declare war or sanctions against a county where his cousins live? Where he attended school? Where his childhood memories are? (I couldn’t raise arms against the country I was born in. I am human.) It is not correct that these questions can be asked of a presidential candidate and have not been addressed. Because in our attempt to be politically correct we have actually endangered this country. It is okay to wonder the motives of Muslims and Arabs… They attacked us! What doesn’t make sense is that Arabs attacked us and people want to make one our president. (Or is he going to deny he is Arab also?) Just like it’s okay to worry about all these crazy American citizens moving to the woods with an arsenal of weapons and making their own laws because they have attacked us! America, please realize that one of the reasons this country is so great is because as American citizens we are spoiled. Most of the terrorist acts carried out in the USA are by our own home grown lunatics. This will not be the case if Obama gets elected… And who knows for how long we will pay for the consequences. Again, I am not a supporter of voting for a president on the “fear” campaign as Bush was elected. But things are so screwed up and people want a change so bad that they are willing to ignore so much is wrong with Obama. He is not the black candidate everyone thinks. It is not about color or race… it’s about allegiance. Hell, I would vote for Condoleezza Rice before Obama. At least she has foreign affairs experience. McCain if anything is a great American hero. I have no doubt he would defend this country with his last ounce of strength and sacrifice it all (Oh wait… he already has). My vote is not only against Obama but also in support of am honorable man. Please vote for someone who’s allegiance can not be questioned because I don’t want my sons fighting a war against the Arabs(who hate us) on Amrican soil. God Bless America!

This is so much rubbish. Obama and Odinga only appeared when Obama visited a health clinic in Odinga’s district and Odinga showed up to. Obama did not “campaign” for Odinga. Obama seperately made some statements about ending the corruption of the Kibaki regime and other African tinpot dictators. The government spokesman accused him of being a “puppet” of the democracy movement. After the election, which international observers said had clearly been won by Odinga and stolen by Kibaki, there were protests by members of the many tribes in the democracy movement. Members of Kikuyu tribe loyal to Kibaki, including in the police and army, attacked and killed democracy protestors, sparking mass rioting between the Kikuyu and other tribes. It was a horrible time but it was orchestrated by the Kibaki regime to resist the democracy movement and a real election result. During the rioting, Obama was asked by the American Ambassador to help him in diplomacy with all sides. Odinga agreed to speak to Obama but Kibaki refused to because Obama’s father was not Kikuyu. The facts show this is the true story of Obama and Odinga not the lies published in the webblog post above. The story of Obama campaigning for Odinga, of him donating money to the Kenyan democracy movement, and of Odinga having ties to Islamic extremists, are lies by extreme conservatives in America and by Kibaki’s totalitarian supporters in Kenya. How strange that this smear story has in fact ended up creating an axis of interest between Senator John McCain and President Kubaki, who wanted to be the new Robert Mugabe.

Apparently publishing the slimiest attack book of the year against Barack Obama wasn�t enough for the man behind the Swift Boating of John Kerry, Jerome Corsi (see our full entry on Corsi and his despicable book).

He recently took a trip to Kenya to publicize some of the more bizarre and easily disproven lies in his book, but he got himself in some trouble with the local authorities and was deported. As soon as he got back, he was out peddling a completely fake, manufactured email allegedly from Barack to Raila Odinga. The email is so obviously made up, it�s been openly mocked.

There�s more to the smears behind Corsi�s latest stunt. He apparently started with an email attack that earned a �pants on fire� rating from PolitiFact for truthfulness. The email claimed familial, financial, and political ties between Barack Obama and Kenyan politician, Raila Odinga, so all Corsi had to do when he �wrote� his book was commit it to paper. Everything in the email was debunked months before the book came out, but Corsi went with his illegitimate smears anyway.

The truth is Raila Odinga claimed to be related to Barack during a politically dangerous moment for himself, and no Kenya experts believe his claim. Having made that unsupported boast, even Odinga himself says he never received money from Obama, as the original smear email and Corsi�s pathetic rehash would have us believe.

This latest ridiculous Corsi smear is turning up in email boxes all across the country. Fight back with the truth: make sure anyone who has seen this smear, also sees this page.

Hasn’t he just been serving himself? You mention Columbia and Harvard… Barama’s crudentials… well Bush is Yale and Harvard… and you aren’t happy with that at all. This article is clearly something that the Americans haven’t been exposed to. There is nothing that I would love better than to see an African American get into Presidency…to live to see that would be so amazing! But race truly doesn’t matter, when there are other pretty major concerns.. What matters more to me is character and judgement. Mr. Obama seems like a terrific guy and very likeable, obviously, as he has flocks of youth and others surrounding him. But the people he associates himself with are questionable. I am concerned about this, as an independent voter. I can understand a few stragglers here and there, but the list is building–quite large in face– and there have been way too many extremists behind this man who he seems to allow into his life and surroundings. Why is it this way? Is he naive, as someone said? Or is he just a pushover, who isn’t able to install boundaries into his life. Interestingly, he too is an “agent of change” he says, as Raila Odinga. Lots of similarities. The very similarities that youth hope for.
