corporal punishment or whaterver you want to call it. the bottom line is punishement is a must in schools and at home. teachers should be given permission to punish students although this should be done carefully inorder that the student may learn. there is no way that we can bring up disciplined children without the cane. spare the rod and spoil the child!talking to them is good but what if talkig fails what next for the teacher or parent? its almost like instead of children obeying their parents its now parents obey your children. I went through school and punishment was there and I am grateful for it because it has made me who I am. The church needs to step in and guide the youth and parents. The fear of the lord is the begining of wisdom

With high indiscipline cases in schools, it becomes well-nigh illogical to stay the rule of abolishing corporal punishment. Though not to be misused, punishment in schools is a must.

The child must be guided in the right direction with professional tutelage and coaching.
