Pakistani authorities have decided to free Benazir Bhutto from house arrest.
This is happening just hours after she was issued with an order placing her under house arrest.
This is due to international outcry and condemnation. Pakistan is undergoing turmoil due to President Musharaf’’s rule under what many seem to translate to be martial law.
The President has however said that he will allow for the elections to take place in February 2008.
