I know some of you will call me a Kikuyu, a tribalist, but I have always thought myself as African first, Kenyan second, black skinned third and Kikuyu last … But God forbid if we ever have this man our leader.

Watch out!

I believe that the black race owes it to it’s self to reidentify itself correctly. There is nothing wrong neither is it tribalistic to identify yourself with your mother’s or father’s race, tribe, or even clan. It must be authentic and original. It is no crime to honestly say; I am a Maasai or Kikuyu or Luo etc by tribe, Kenyan by citizenship, black Africa and a Swede/Norwegian or finish by second nationality/citizenship! Without your tribe, you would never be an African neither will you be identified with your country. Africans must start becoming proud of their originality.

To favour someone at the expence of another because of tribal affiliation or to discriminate another one due to belonging to another race is crime and never to be accepted whatsoever.

When voting for leaders, we donot have to judge them by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character(MLK JR) Whether he or she is circumcised or not as long as she has merits formal or informal to lead a people in need of good leadership.

To encourage discussions on basis of whether the preisdent’s candidate foreskin is tempered with or not is entirelly primitive and belongs not in the generation of a people of today particularly if you are in Diaspora. Being in Diaspora does not, in this case mean you are better than anybody but at least you are exposed to information thus enlarging your world more than theworld of your siblings in the Manyatta.

I hope we will be wise in electing a president in a fair and democratic manner than on thebasis of foreskin and tribal lines.
