Friendship due to a common enemy, Iran:
Hussein senior (<left) and Bush
senior (right>)!
All of it started with “father Bush senior who in friendship, as vice president of the only powerful nation in the world, the US, had secret dealings with “father Hussein senior, in US’s efforts to discipline Iran, a nation the Bushes termed the axis of “evil.”
Hussein senior was suspicious of Bush senior, but because of the wish to be the top man in the Muslim world, and the fact that he wanted to control Middle East politics, Hussein went along with the plan under the banner of friendship.
CIA assistance:
He received help to destroy Iran militarily from the CIA, delivering to him important military secrets that aided in the punching of the Iranians.
Hussein wanted to be the redeemer of all the Arabs, and to become the lion of Baghdad, after describing himself as Salahadin II.
The friendship was soured by Hussein senior’s invasion of the oil nation Kuwait, a nation that Bush senior benefited from. Now the Husseins had touched on something the Bushes depended on, the oil exports to the US.
The Bushes decided to break the friendly relationship and liberate Kuwait. Now a start of a long JOURNEY was unstoppable! The Bushes started on a journey from Washington in the US, and marched all the way to Kuwait liberating the country, and returning the Kuwaiti leader from exile.
This was the time Bush senior had been elevated to the presidency by the US voters.
It was not long before the Bushes were forced out of power in the US by the electorate.
President Clinton had taken over the presidency.
Saddam Hussein’s aggressive rule:
Hussein senior continued his aggressive rule in Iraq. He wanted to develop big things called weapons of mass destruction. He started doing it secretly, but the watchful eyes of the CIA noticed that things were happening, that would make the Husseins the redeemers of the Arabs and Lions of Baghdad.
He even went as far as trying to eliminate Bush senior when senior visited Kuwait as a private man, after his removal as president.
The new man, Clinton played his role, but was out of power before he could do much in Baghdad.
George Bush junior takes over the Presidency:
Bush junior came along, and became the president in the US. He did not want to start his work from where Clinton left it. The diplomatic negotiations to stop the Husseins from developing weapons of mass destruction.
Bush junior decided that the Husseins had to be stopped by all means. They had to be removed by all means. He asked the world to join him in doing so. And when some countries refused to do so, Bush junior created conditions threatening world leaders by warning them, “either you are with us or against us!”
Countries had to choose. Many afraid of the US, chose to be with them, otherwise they risked to be beaten thoroughly by the Bushes! The Bushes use many ways to beat those who disobey them. Sanctions of all sorts, or even removing leaders from power.
What those who joined the US, and the Bushes, did not know was what Bush junior had in store.
It was to revenge the attempted assassination of his dad, Bush senior whose life was almost taken by the Husseins, while on a visit to Kuwait.
Hidden secret > Revenge:
Bush junior had a plan. He was thinking of bigger things. The attempt on his dad’s life by the Husseins was not going to go unpunished.
Hussein senior (<left) and Bush junior (right>)!
Hussein senior tried to talk to
Bush junior. But surely, how can you accept to talk with someone who tried to kill your dad, Bush junior may have thought!
He refused to talk and instead decided to punish the Husseins. He thought it is not enough to take the life of Hussein senior alone. The sons might come after him at a later date, just like he, being Bush senior’s son, was now going after Hussein senior!
This was the beginning of the Husseins real problems. Having Bush junior targeting them, and having them as his foreign policy number one, that had to be achieved no matter the cost in money or even if American soldiers had to die. And they really died and still dying in Iraq even after the Husseins are gone.
So far over 3000 US men and women in uniform, have died on the journey started by the Bushes in Washington, aimed at putting an end to the Husseins’s presence on this earth.
Saddam’s sons:
The US soldiers ordered by the Bushes to march to Baghdad, and remove the Husseins found Hussein Senior’s two sons Uday and Qusay. The soldiers killed them in a shoot-out when the two refused to surrender. They “bloody” died beyond recognition.
Hussein senior holed claims “tactical retreat”:
The US soldiers continued their marching orders, and after a while they discovered Hussein senior in a hole, where they dug him out.
When he emerged dirty and shaggier from the hole under the ground, he told his US captures, “I am first and foremost a soldier like you, and even though I holed myself under the ground, I am still the Iraqi president! I was just on tactical withdrawal. That is common sense to anybody who is a soldier”
The US soldiers were stunned to hear that the man still believed he was the president. However, they did not give him presidential treatment, even though he told them that his was not a surrender but tactical retreat.
Hussein used a soldier’s language, while addressing his capturers, hoping that they would take him seriously due to the soldier’s code of conduct, and respect for the Commander-in-Chief. He was the commander-in-chief of the Iraqi army while in power, just like Bush junior is for the US soldiers.
Shortly thereafter, the White House issued a pre-prepared written statement: “Ladies and gentlemen, we got him!” Now a very popular phrase.
Those against him were happy. They rejoiced thunderously thinking Iraq was now going to be in peace. No peace was achieved after his capture. In fact the situation has deteroriated ever since, and as we watch, nose diving.
Humiliating senior: US claims to search for weapons of mass destruction:
The US soldiers wanted to please the Bushes, so they decided to humiliate Hussein senior. They decided to get to the bottom of things, and bottoms up they went, looking for hidden weapons of mass destruction.
They promised that they would leave no stone unturned. They really did not leave any stones unturned. They feared even under his clothes Hussein senior could have hidden weapons of mass destruction, so they undressed him completely, but found no hidden weapons under his pants!

The Bushes were saddened to discover nothing was found in the whole of Iraq and even under his enemy’s pants, the man they called the butcher of Baghdad.
Bush junior and Plan “B”
Now that nothing was found to show to the world, and use as an excuse to revenge the assassination attempt on his father’s life, Bush junior had to orchestrate plan “B” immediately. The planning took 3 years.
It had to be done in such away that the world would not despise the US and the Bushes. The Husseins had to be painted the worst people on earth, so that once they are totally removed, nobody would suspect foul play by the Americans.
A Court case was planned. But it was not to take place in the international court of justice in the Hague, like that of many leaders like Serbia’s Slobodan Milosevic and Liberia’s Mr Taylor. The two were send to the Hague for trial. That means they were meant to be sentenced to some years in jail or life imprisonment.
Hussein senior was tried in his home country, where the Bushes knew death sentence is practiced. The people who put him on trial were the same people who hated him for having punished them while he was in power.
Some of them had just returned from exile, where they had stayed while the Husseins were in power. What do one expect if your enemy is your judge? To spare you or put you to death? The Bushes knew the result of the trial even before it started.
Sentenced to hang:
He was sentenced to death and was to be executed by hanging. Normally, people who are being put to death are allowed to have the last wish on this earth. Some ask for a cigarette, while others ask for the best meal with wine and they are granted.
But Hussein senior’s last wish on this earth was rejected.
He did not ask for a cigarette or a good meal but he wanted to die by the bullet, because he said he wanted to die a proud soldier.
His request was ignored. He had to be humiliated. The new Iraqi leaders had to do what they expected the Bushes wanted. Make him die in pain. He was simply hanged. It is believed, that the Bushes wanted him to get a painful death by dangling a few minutes, hanging on a rope, before his last breath on the Iraqi soil.
The Bushes got satisfied. Bush junior went to the press, and said what many have been saying, that executing Hussein senior was not going to bring peace to Iraq.
Many have said that Hussein senior did not get a fair trial, but the Bushes believe otherwise.
Bush junior has said that Hussein senior’s execution was carried out after a fair trial for a brutal man who had denied his people justice deserved. And that his execution was a step in the right direction.
Husseins execution ends the hate between two families and a dramatic story of Texanian christians the Bushes and Tikritian Muslims the Husseins. The best judge on who is right and wrong here is only God.
Tagged for shipping to the Bushes?
Here he lies in peace tagged, after the execution. A difficult decision had to be taken. The Bushes wanted to keep the body in their custody after the hanging.
It is rumoured that the body was to be shipped to the US for the Bushes to view it, and ascertain that he was really dead, before he was to be transported back for burial in Iraq.
The question now is whether he was shipped to the Bushes for viewing? Everything is possible in this day and age where flying takes very few hours.
End of the journey> The burial in Tikrit, Iraq:
However, it is now known that the body was later handed over to the relatives in Tikrit for burial, ending the Husseins journey that started with friendship and later transformed to hate, after dealing with the Bushes!
Whether the handing over of the body for burial, was done after being taken to US first, and returned to Iraq, has not been confirmed by any sources.
We wonder what type of dish the Bushes enjoyed for dinner after the confirmation of Hussein senior’s execution. A man who was their worst living enemy.
The powerful Husseins are now gone, but their marks on earth stays on!
