“Barnevernet” The Norwegian Child Protection Unit must stop splitting minority families in Norway!
Posted by africanpress on November 7, 2006
“Barnevernet”, The Norwegian Child Protection Unit, an official institution, in Norway splits many minority families in pretence that they are interested in safeguarding the interest of the children.
A number of cases where children have been taken away from families are painful to narrate. Some of the children end up isolated, discriminated against. In some cases, they have ended up turning to drugs and crime.
When the Child Protection Unit removes a child from a minority home, they normally place the child in a Norwegian home or an institution basically run by Norwegians.
When that happens, they forget that the child they are taking away from the biological parents has a culture that will not be paid attention to, in a purely Norwegian home. This deprives the children of a culture important for them when they grow up.
Norwegian homes that accept to receive the child is paid almost half a million Norwegian kroner in one year to car for the child. This incentive encourages ethnic Norwegian homes to base their income on taking over children from minority families.
African Press has learnt that some of the Norwegian adults that the Protection Unit use resign from their normal jobs to take on this well-paying task.
(African Press will focus on this issue the following week with statistics and facts that will show how this problem is destroying African families in Norway)

1/2 a million kroner as a fosterparent? Are you joking?
Please check your facts.
Here is a quote from Bufetat, Vestfold: “I tillegg til utgiftsdekning (fra kr 3 865 til kr 5 700) pr. mÃ¥ned ytes det godtgjøring etter kommunale satser (kr 5 100).” (In addition to paid expenses (from 3 865,- to 5 700) per month, the pay is 5 100,-).
As far as I can see, this adds up 129 600,- pr. year.
Another issue is - what alternative does the child welfare service have?
How many African fosterfamilies exist?
How many minority people work in institutions?
Do you actually think it is never necessary to take a child away from their family - no matter its etnic backgroun?
If this is such a huge problem, how about encouraging minority families to work with these children.

Fosterparent whith many children get a lot of money!! Normaly they have many children.
“Barnevernet”/cps helps whith holidays, new bigger car, changes in house. More money for children whith problem.
Half a million Norwegian kroner is normal. Some work both in other jobs! They make money!!
Haakon Rian Ueland can check more facts. Search Google: “fosterbarnskennel” :-P

Anybody ever watched the movie Rabbit proof fence? The Australian government was using the same ploy to pick Aborigine kids and put them in Australian families. So that they could live their “primitive” ways. Decades later, you can all imagine the mayhem in Australia between the native Aborigines and Australians.
This amounts to total madness!! If the kids have problems in their minority groups, look for some families in the same group. If that is not possible, then it seems the government has failed a whole minority group. I heard of a story in US where a foster couple were jailed after they were found to have put the kids in dog cages. Cost minimization as the kids will require few clothes, i mean, when they are caged, there are few expenses. You know what is a kennel-DOG HOUSE. This sounds as creapy and worrisome as the labels used
APN, please do some thorough investigation and brief us accordingly.

Not only minority families are destroyed by the CPS (child protection services) in Norway. It is done to ethnic Norwegians too, though it is correct that minority families are harassed to an even greater extent. Ueland (comment above) is either naive or expressing the official, politically correct propaganda. I know very well several cases where foster families finance very luxurious living by taking on foster children. The social services even advertise for foster parents to take on a foster child at a salary of over NOK 300.000 per year (approx. 40.000 Euros). Additional remuneration per extra child, often plus tax free “expense coverage” plus paid vacation on the Mediterranean, etc. Recently foster parents have also had the monthly child benefit put at their disposal. The child benefit for a child not living with its parents was previously to be saved up in a bank account for the child, to be given over to the child at 18, or when it was allowed to move back to its parents. (Nevertheless the child benefit money was not infrequently used by the foster parents, quite illegally but never punished.)
The whole set-up is a social engineering project whereby children essentially belong to the state and in fact serve to finance several tens of thousands of “child experts”: CPS social workers, psychologists, therapists, foster parents, social bureaucrats, what have you. It is provided with an ideology based on psychobabble and all sorts of speculation, biological relationship is considered without value and parents are considered the child’s natural enemies. In reality, very few of these children experience any harm from their parents, but a lot are mistreated in fosterhomes and institutions, and long wildly for their own families. In the few cases where the parents are really incapable of taking care of their children or are a danger to the children, there are practically always grandparents or other relatives who beg for the children to live with them, but the CPS always prevent it. They likewise torture child and family by curtailing meetings, and have a whole crazy philosophy of why this is “good” for the child.
This crazy plague is much the same in all countries once they start building up their social services and train psychobabblers, but the Scandinavian countries are among the worst, perhaps THE worst. One reason is probably that our populations are naively unsuspicious of the motives and mechanisms of state employees and public institutions.
Both Norway and especially Sweden have been found guilty of serious violations of family rights in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (I know these cases very well and some of them personally). But regardless of this condemnation our states continue all the same; it is even getting worse.
We need your help! We need information spread abroad about the destruction of families in our oh-so-civilised countries. Kindly consult the websites http://nkmr.org and http://www.barnasrett.no, both of which have sections in English. http://forum.r-b-v.net also has a small section in English. nkmr.org is Nordic, the web-site is based in Sweden. The other two are Norwegian.

Haakon Rian Ueland erroneously qouted figures for the preceding year. The paid expenses from July 1, 2006 varies from 3,970 to 5,860 NOK per month and are tax-exempt. In addition comes monthly payment of 5,300 NOK. In some cases the fosterparent is “bought free” from ordinary work in order to stay at home full-time to care for the fosterchild. Also many fosterchildren are presumed to need extra care and so-called “strengthened” fosterhomes will receive additional income. So it is not unlikely that in some cases norwegian fosterparents may receive 500,000 Norwegian crowns in total financial compensation for taking care of African families’ children.
The children are stolen from their natural families when psychologists, paid by the norwegain government, decide that the children are “neglected”. Often poverty is equated with neglect.
It is no doubt that fosterchildren are a good source of income for norwegian part-time farmers and other Norwegians accustomed to being taken care of by the norwegian welfare state. The children are considered a welfare good granted from the Government. No consideration is given to the children’s natural parents wo are denied the right to care for their own children.

We are fighting this very same thing here in the U.S., talk about so-called civilized countries. We formed Honkforkids (.com) and are having some good results. We are suing the government in federal court for violating our civil rights. We would certainly avail ourselves to helping others abroad to stop this rampant abuse and destruction of families. I see a Honkforkids-Africa. Let’s take this worldwide on a united front and force governments to get out of our homes and lives.
