“Barnevernet”, The Norwegian Child Protection Unit, an official institution, in Norway splits many minority families in pretence that they are interested in safeguarding the interest of the children.
A number of cases where children have been taken away from families are painful to narrate. Some of the children end up isolated, discriminated against. In some cases, they have ended up turning to drugs and crime.
When the Child Protection Unit removes a child from a minority home, they normally place the child in a Norwegian home or an institution basically run by Norwegians.
When that happens, they forget that the child they are taking away from the biological parents has a culture that will not be paid attention to, in a purely Norwegian home. This deprives the children of a culture important for them when they grow up.
Norwegian homes that accept to receive the child is paid almost half a million Norwegian kroner in one year to car for the child. This incentive encourages ethnic Norwegian homes to base their income on taking over children from minority families.
African Press has learnt that some of the Norwegian adults that the Protection Unit use resign from their normal jobs to take on this well-paying task.
(African Press will focus on this issue the following week with statistics and facts that will show how this problem is destroying African families in Norway)

Nannskog should not have accepted racist excuse from Roman Kienast. It all started during the football game in Hamar when HamKam homed Stabæk during their last game this season.
HamKam, (Hamar Kameratene) is a team known to be based in an area against foreigners and non-whites who like to progress in sporting activities.
In there desperate fight to survive and remain in the elite serie, their
striker Austrian Roman Kienast, using the “f” word, compared Nannskog with a monkey.
Teams that do not work hard to stop racism do not deserve to be in elite series, because when in that group, one should be a good example to up-coming clubs. The leader for the fans has promised that the club will deal with the problem and Oluwasegun Abiodun, a player who has also been in uncomfortable situations due to racistic remarks,
says he will stay one more year in the club.
He was on his way to a Netherland club, but now that they are in the 1 division he knows he will have more time to play than being on the bench too often as has been the case in the past.

Fifpro Merit Award to African player who once said” “I might not be as handsome as David Beckham, but I’m a better footballer”
.
Fifpro or ”football federation for international players” awarded well known Samuel Eto’o The FIFPro Merit Award. In addition to thrilling millions of football fans with his due to his talent, Cameroonian Eto’o has always had a commitment to Africa and African football. Rumour has it onhow he has kept and helped many, economically and socially, by many visits, to his childhood soccer-mates and there families in cameroon.
Samuel Eto’o has Somalian ancestry by paternal grandfather and grew up in Burco, in Northern Somalia. His career started when he met a Somalian man who taught him how to play football from the age of three to the age of 13 before movingback to his home town Nkon.
It was after this that he was noticed aged 15 by agents for Real Madrid who then decided to buy him. Imagine at the age of 15 a young Eto’o at madrid airport waiting for hours alone. He didn’t speak Spanish . He had agreed to sign a contract, but Real Madrid had forgotten to pick him up at the airport.
Things did not start well in Madrid. They borrowed him to other clubs and when he got the chance, after years of good performance in other clubs he got his way and went to Barcelona where he has been part of a team that has won cup and champions league.
Many people have noticed that Ronaldinho does not seem to do well without Eto’o yet all attention goes to him. An incident occurred in February of 2006, when Eto’o suffered from racially-driven verbal abuse by some spectators during a match against FC Barcelona. The fans began making monkey-like sounds whenever Eto’o had the ball. Deeply offended, Eto’o threatened to leave the pitch in the middle of the game, but was prevented by the quick intervention of his team-mates and the referee, who rushed to the pitch to calm him down.
His teammateslike Ronaldinho among them, have suffered similar abuses. He said then that he was fed up with the sounds and that if Eto’o had left the pitch, he would have done the same. The incident sparked controversy as to the racist attitudes of Spanish football fans, and opened a general discussion on racism in football.
England’s football federation voiced its outrage about the incident, following an earlier behaviour directed towards the English team during a friendly match against the Spanish national team on Spanish soil. Recently Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Mexico, Italy and Norway black players while in Spain have been subjected to racial abuse from the opposing team’s fans.
However, while some merely ignore these abuses, others like Eto’o and the Ivorian defender Marc Zoro have reacted by trying to leave the pitch. Reactions like this has made FIFA’s president to consider more severe punishments in the future.
Eto,o once said ” “I might not be as handsome as David Beckham, but I’m a better footballer”.
Cameroon, Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria and South Africa are members in FiFpro.
Ronaldinho was selected Player of the year - 2006.

African press has decided to use the above comment in a story-form.
The author of the comment calling herself Blondy, is interested to raise the issue of black men who are abusive to their Norwegian women. Abuse is not one-way traffic. Blondy states above that black women who get abused by their white partners have a choice when abused and battered by the spouses. The choice, according to Blondy is to return to their African countries if they feel the abuse is destroying their lives.
For Blondy, she believes black man who abuse the white spouses never leave them alone even if the relationship is over. And as blondy states, the white woman abused cannot leave the country because this is her home country.
We open for debate in this issue. APN will bring an article on the issue soon.
