When we think of Mungiki we think of insecurity, at least that is the way the Internal Minister sees it. For him, he does not have to think that Mungiki may be a sect that destabilises the country, he has information that he gets on daily basis from the security service and he weighs them, thereafter makes a decision and that is it. Even the president will have to listen if the Security minister tells him of a plot to harm him. This is because the Security minister is well informed.

The truth must be told. When we ask ourselves about power and who is powerful, we tend to make judgement following our feelings and not really accept to see the facts.

In Kenya, we have Professor George Saitoti (left photo) minister in charge of internal security, the most powerful thing in the survival of any country and its leaders. Then you have a Prime Minister (right photo) who is supervising the government duties. And then you have a President who gets daily morning security briefings from the Internal Security minister, a minister who does not brief the PM because of the “need to know principle.” To read more, click: Who is powerful between The Minister for Internal Security Mr George Saitoti and The Prime Minister Raila Odinga?

MURUNGURUNE PRIMARY SCHOOL may not feature anywhere among the famous schools in Kenya nor even around the central part of Kenya where it is located. For its location it is in the East of Mt Kenya on the slopes of the said mountain which is reputed to be the highest in Kenya and with the surprise phenomenon of having snow yet situated along the equator.

The school is interior and almost in the forest but in an area famous for quality tea production, quite difficult to access via roads  but in an area with wet, cool, rainy and sunny climate which resembles most parts of  America and  Europe.  ….. All Hail the Placatyndancy Or, How to form a government whose chief aim is not to govern.
Written by S.K. Boit

As national events continue to play out in all their intriguing ways, Kenyans and political scientists all over the world have had a chance to ponder the momentous occasion that unfolded before our eyes at 4.33 pm on Sunday, April 13, 2008.   At that time, after due diligence and with much forethought, the President formally constituted his government.  It was a historic moment — and not because of the novelty that came with only the second prime minister since independence.  It was a historic moment in a more consequential way; a moment that must be placed alongside other epoch-making events in the history of politics and government.  Surely, ancient Greeks may have invented the practice of democracy in human societies.  The Romans may have given the world the concept of separation of powers in democratic governments.  The Bolsheviks may have elevated communism into a competitive force on the world stage.  And the British may have given us the concept of parliamentary supremacy.

But it is Kenya in the 21st century that has given the world a placatundancy.  Do not reach for your dictionary of rare words.  This is the newest word in the political lexicon.  The etymology of the word is simple enough: If you fuse “placating” with “redundancy” the result is “placatundancy.” ….to read more, Click on the link here: All Hail the Placatundancy Or, how to form a government whose chief aim is not to govern

Félicien Kabuga <Mr Felicen Kabuga

Mr Felicen Kabuga, a man I have only met once while in hiding, says the time has come and now ” I am ready to negotiate for a supervised surrender on agreeable terms.” He says he is willing to face justice in his country and not in Arusha where the international law is being advocated.

When asked to elaborate what he means by “supervised surrender on agreeable terms”, Kabuga said he prefers that his arrest when surrendering is supervised by senior officers who respect human rights rather than allowing himself to be picked by enthusiastic soldiers who may molest him because they have been brainwashed to believe he is a criminal.

He wants the government to listen to his side of the story so that ………. read more, click:Rwandese businessman hunted by ICTR requests API to deliver a massage to Rwandese Government. “I am ready to negotiate for a supervised surrender on agreeable terms”, says Kabuga

Mr Wilfred Saroni, the fallen businessman in the US.

Many people have written to us for or against the fallen Kenyan businessman in the US. We have analysed their comments and found out that….. read more> LINK: The Kenyan Businessman whose business is colapsing in the US should be loan-bailed by the Kenya government
Some may argue that the businessman should not get the help from the government, but we all know that the pride of a nation is the success of the people. Therefore we find it in the spirit of development to ask the Kenya government to look into Mr Saroni’s situation with an open mind.
